Autumn has finally arrived.22nd September was officially the first day of fall in this part of world.Fall means changes in leaf color,pumpkins and apple picking, celebrating halloween and thanksgiving.At the same time,Fall means transitioning into cooler weather hence saying goodbye to those summer shorts and sandals and start wearing fall appropriate clothes.
It is the beginning of festive season here.To welcome the new season,every year in Edison a street fair is arranged which is called Edison’s fall family spectacular with some great food,live music,games for kids,stalls of art and crafts and other homemade goods.
It was a great opportunity for us to have a fun filled evening and be part of the celebration.As we were marking the first day of fall I wanted to dress up appropriately for the fall season.

Brick Red Leather Skirt
According to me the highlight of this whole outfit was the red leather skirt I wore.Until now,I never had a leather skirt in my collection.I was hesitant to try a leather skirt as I used to feel it gives an edgy look.But with every passing year I am becoming a little more confident to try new things ,be it clothes or anything else.So when I saw this on a mannequins in forever 21 store,I thought of giving it a try and guess what,I liked the fitting very much.This brick red colour is so much in this fall.And leather is always perfect flavour of the season be it a leather jacket or a skirt.Right now the skirt is there in discounted price

Dark green ribbed t-shirt
Now to pair with it I thought of selecting a comfi top which is not too thin for outerwear and can easily go without any level of layering.So this uniqlo ribbed tshirt was perfect for that.It gives a nice knitted look. Again the color green is very much in trend this fall.Uniqlo is a brand I tried for the first time and I am very happy with their products.

Ankle length booties
The third element of this look are the pair of booties.Booties are so perfect for autumn.Ankle length booties are my personal favourite as compared to knee length boots because of my excellent height.and it goes so well with the outfit.

I am going to repeat this outfit for many more times during the whole fall season and I can easily wear it during winter with a smart mojo jacket and stockings.
