Hey, my fashionistas. How are you all doing? Well, so finally winter is going to be over and, spring is coming. This winter was really hard on me. I was falling sick in a cyclic manner. I can’t wait more for spring. Actually, I am doing a happy dance in my mind right now. Spring signifies blossoms, sunshine, warm breeze, brighter colour and warmer days. We are planning to visit Washington DC for the cherry blossom festival. And you know what, I have started planning my outfits for the upcoming season. But that does not mean that I am going to spend a lot on a new bunch of clothes. I will simply invest in a floral dress,a new purse and a comfy sandal. That’s it. It is always wiser to shop your wardrobe first and mix n match your existing pieces. So here goes my list of 7 must have transition pieces for winter to spring outfits . Some of these must be always there in your closet and rest few you can get fresh. And you will be good to go for the upcoming season.
Statement sleeve Blouses
Finally, your pretty blouses need not be covered under multiple layers, so here is the time to display your statement sleeve blouses. Also during spring, the weather is not warm enough for sleeveless and tank tops. A nice blouse with a fitted pair of denim can be your go-to outfit throughout the season.
Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans are the best thing since they are invented. Most comfy, casual and stylish. To add some extra glamour spend on a pair of nicely fitted distressed Jeans. Pair it with a beautiful top and a sneaker or booties and you can easily pull of the spring vibe.
Floral dresses
Floral dresses, be it mini, midi or maxi are the flavours of the season. It perfectly blends with the seasonal flowers all around us. Our outing to a cherry blossom festival or a simple outing to the park can be incomplete without a beautiful floral dress. A must-have in my list of winter to spring outfits.
Booties
Booties go so well with a mini or midi floral dress. Those are comfy too for the initial days of spring when the weather is still cool. Hence a must-have winter to spring outfits transition piece.
Light Layers
So finally we can ditch that puffer and all other heavy jacket and look stylish in our light layers like a leather or moto jacket or some light cardigans which will go so well with our spring outfit.
Spring Handbags
As I always say, a purse can make or break your whole look. I am so excited to invest in a nice spring type purse. All these acrylic, top handle, transparent purses are trending right now. I promise I am going to share a new post soon on all the latest trends on the purse.
Sandals
Now is the time to go for a few comfortable, strappy, floral printed and neutral shades sandals which will blend with our spring outfits. Adding a few of my top favourite here.

Floral dresses with boots are my favorite Winter-Spring transition look…like the way you’ve coupled your statement sleeve blouse with canvas shoes.
